Like true Cretans, we'll start our day with a cup of strong Greek coffee, and to swiftly immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Crete, we'll taste the famous bougatsa of Chania. They say those who try these divine petals of crispy pastry (especially with ricotta filling) instantly add from 5 to 15 Greek words to their lexicon. Shall we test that?

A stroll through Chania. It would be unfair not to show the romantic and beautiful beauty of Chania in the morning light. Venetian, Ottoman, and Turkish reminders of the city's complex past accompanied by my stories. And if we touch the beauty, it's on the narrow stone streets with colorful walls. It's high time to unpack our cameras!

Escape to the mountains through the Therissos Gorge. Away from the midday sun, we'll ascend into the mountains, where the languid coolness always smells of autumn and Cretan revolutions. Oh, you'll love this intoxicating scent mixed with Greek history from all sides.

Welcome to Dunyas Tavern! Here, everything is so natural that visitors choose and pick their own vegetables for the salad. And the food is cooked in a wood-fired oven right in front of you. We can even cook ourselves if we wish! If we immerse ourselves in authentic Cretan life, it's to the core, literally. We'll chat with the owner about life, and then eat everything. because ahead of us are unforgettable views of Chania from a bird's-eye view. We'll touch the sky with our hands and point down. To that very Chania, the gorges that were part of our day not long ago. And when we tire of taking photos (and we will, because you can take hundreds of photos here), we'll rush into the warm atmosphere of the Manousakis winery, where we'll taste wine. After all, it has been waiting for us - full, happy, and truly Cretan.
